The August UK team are making final preparations for their visit to Kibera next week. As ever, Dave Boniface is leading the team and will also be doing some work with teachers from Elpo school and with the Micro Enterprise Development (MED) committee. Irene Hendley from Bury St Edmonds again will lead community healthcare training, and is joined for the first time by Emma Bourne from Southampton. Football coach training is being led by Will Wiseman, assisted by Sam Moore who is also making his first trip to Kibera. The team is completed by Katrina Elizabeth, originally from the UK, but who is currently headteacher at an international school in Tanzania and is learning Swahili and her friend Shabbi Rajabu (Tanzania) who will working with the soccer coaches.
