During the pandemic, Umoja, a group of traders living and working in the Kibera slum in Nairobi, has been persistent in reaching out to the most vulnerable in their community with weekly food parcels since April 2020. Funded by donations from the UK, the group has worked tirelessly to target those people out of range of other initiatives, bringing not only food but also hope.
